What is END THE SILENCE?

END THE SILENCE is the national campaign of projectlacey.org to confront the three forms of silence that cost lives every day:

1. Silence of Stigma
People hide addiction. Families hide overdose. Communities judge instead of help.
We end that silence.

2. Silence of Unawareness
Most people don’t know overdose is reversible.
Most don’t know naloxone is easy to use.
Most don’t know they can save a life.
We end that silence.

3. Silence Around Systems and Policy
Drugs flood communities while support, treatment, and transparency lag behind.
People deserve answers. Communities deserve protection.
We end that silence.

our Mission
To empower communities with life-saving overdose-response education and naloxone access so no one dies from an overdose — and to END THE SILENCE around stigma, unawareness, and the systems that allow these deadly drugs to devastate our communities.
O U R V I S I O N

A WORLD WHERE EVERY OVERDOSE IS MET WITH COMPASSION AND ACTION, STIGMA IS GRACED WITH UNDERSTANDING, AND SILENCE IS REPLACED WITH TRUTH, AWARENESS, AND COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILTY.
